Had I been able I'd have answered - "about 20 years ago"

I consider myself very lucky. My boss is a contractor for the company that I work for. I do not have a boss at my company per say. As long as I get 40 or more hours a week he could care less if they are done at home, at work, on the road or where ever. He also does not care what hours I work if I want I can work at night or I can work during the day. I prefer working 12p 8p normally.

I rarely code these days, mostly analysis + SQL, although I am doing a bit of Java at the moment.
Besides, I would have liked to say "My code sucks no matter when I write it" but I see some other wise guy beat me to it.
Cheers,
Vikram. (Proud to have finally cracked a CCC!)

Hi people i am Jane and i am studying and beside this i watch movies everyday. I don't like to go out in the market and buy Movie DVDs because its just a hassle and time wastage and you you know that time means money. I get all the movies online for rent. Get a free trial of Netflix or Blockbuster and honest reviews of the top 3 online dvd rental programs I am also providing you a link through which you can get the DVDs of latest movies that is http://www.dvds-online-rental-review.com

Been wanting to do that for a long time now. Good poll this one!

Come on, Nish, you only code 24 hours a day?
24 hours a day isnt enough in our camponay we need to work 25hours and 3minutes a day!

My code sucks whatever time of day I work.
Words fade as the meanings change, but somehow, it don't bother me.

It takes a real master to produce code that suck to exactly the same degree ...

... with a slight, but not too severe, hangover. Its tricky to get it just right.

That's exactly what I thought...indeed it just feels right to be coding after a couple brews...

Time zones don't really work in my case. If I'm in the mood to work I would get things done even 24x7. If I've something in the back of my mind I would find it tough anytime. I guess its the same for everyone.

That's the kind of construct that would get me before the first few coffees had kicked in.

Bah! Use an enum!
enum PersonType { Zombie , Coder ... }

in regards to the amount of coding I get done versus time
Otherwise what do I tell the boss, sorry boss the best time I code is between 9.00am and 12:00pm. Sure Norm that's fine and that's what you'll get paid for - 3 hours.

The question was about the "best coding", not work hours.
Yeah, when I say 'coding' I mean heads down typing. When I am not coding I am planning, documenting, texting, etc... I can do those things just about anytime.
