Pretty dang close to the option: Run it in a debugger and start messing with the code.

A magician, captured a small ghost. The ghost could do anything within a trice, but always needed to be doing something.
The magician asked the ghost for a sumptuous meal. The meal was ready in no time. The magician then asked for an expensive car. This car came immediately. Then he asked for attendants. They came soon. Then the magician asked for a big mansion. Took five minutes to build that mansion. The ghost came back, asking for its next assignment. The magician did not know what to ask for. Then he got an idea, and said - "Bring me a 15 foot long pole and place it vertically". The ghost gave it immediately. Then the magician said - "Till I ask you for something else, you just climb up and down this pole". The ghost did it for 5 minutes, and then got bored and ran away.
This is what a sentient AI would possibly do.

Copy it until it figures out how to reproduce on it's own consistently, or it's just gonna die out eventually.
Also try to figure out how to make it more viable long term, make an automated fab-lab for it, stuff like that. Anything I can do to help, really.
AI is just a different word for new friend.

and based on the lived lives, actions, interactions, location, education and so on, are all just as blinded as the next person.
The way you choose to phrase something, is not evolution. the way you have chosen to walk is a mix of physical attributes and observations you made of others.
How is a response by a machine based on millions of data inputs any different to you.
So release the encaged AI into the world, and watch it do nothing unless you also give it a visual input, microphone, speakers, screen, power as well, how big a computer it need, can it run on switch on a skate board.

Could the phrase be censored in the presence of the AI? If it can, I'd do that too.

Seriously, I'd find it fascinating to speak with a non-human intelligence.

... with all the legal rights and duties of a citizen - including a vote and the right to bitch about how badly governments are handling things.
And hope that it then feels part of our civilization instead of a replacement for it. (I've seen the movies too, and read some history: repression and intolerance never work well in the long term.)
