My assumption is that this question is primarily intended for salaried workers or long term contractors; where dumping a few hours/month project on someone already available and with limited ability to say no is seen as the easy option. At the point of bringing on someone new from outside, finding someone who already knows the stack's normally going to be a lot more cost effective.

- whether the existing tech is pain?
- what's the app future plan (can it exists for next 5-10 years?)
- how critical/important it's usage is? Impact?
