Looking at the current stats, it looks like voters are just voting from the first article down for any many as long as their patience to click the checkboxes last.

It is misleading that there can be multiple selection of a favourite article. There ist no weight in the vote.
I think there should be only a fixed size of votes or 3 votes (internally 6 points)
that if you vote 1a -> 6p, 2a -> 3p, 3a -> 2p.
I have voted 2 articles, and if somebody is voting more/less, his votes get a more/less influence.

So vote for more articles if you want more influence - or, if you don't think any articles beyond those two deserve it, don't vote for any others. Everyone has the same # of votes, it's up to you to use them as you see fit.

I was just wondering why only some of the articles from October are listed. If only edited articles are considered, how to I get mine edited:
Title: Undo and Redo the "Easy" Way
Author: compiler
Updated: 7 Oct 2002
Section: C++ / MFC (Unedited Reader Contributions)
URL: http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/Transactions.asp
I think the original submission was Oct 4, but maybe I'm wrong.
Thanks,
c

Nothing to do with the edited status of an article. There are quite a few unedited ones in that list. I think the highest rated ones are chosen! Next time ask all your friends to sign up on CP and give you 5s Also tell them to make at least one post in the Lounge every day.

Or create 30 fake accounts and vote a 5 with each. Rotten anyway.
[edit]The votes are probably going to show a reliable sign of what people like most : games. [/edit]
Back to real work : D-22.

I wonder if Chris uses the same weighting for regular/new posters as in article rates.
