That is a good point. That is kind of like all of the online gaming servers on the internet right now like EverQuest.
Think about Intuits Turbo Tax software. I need it once a year, and I need that version of the software for only that year. I think that it makes sense to rent that for 10 dollars and use it once. I guess that you can call that as providing me the service of letting me use Turbo Tax for that year. But it is also possible to buy that program and own it.

Yeah, you own it and it's only useful for the day that you use it to do your taxes.

Renting for some software is a good idea but i think allowing it to be the only option will be a big mistake it needs to be available with the ability to purchase.
