Like coworkers losing grip on their screwdrivers while forcing open devices that would be meant to be opened (and devices that are not but must be opened anyway). Or coworkers dropping a 5 kg steel-lead hatch on your arm/foot/neck. Or dropping a glass test jar in your vicinity, with flying splinters. Or tripping on a tensed cable forgot there by a messy coworker. Or having a metal conveyor started while operating on it.
It helps that I develop for industry applications...

I have sometimes headaches from the crappy stuff and naive decisions my co-workers and managers do.
I say a part of my salary are damages.

You are telling us that you never participated in a 'code red', in one way or another?
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

To be fair, I put my chair in an un-ergonomic position myself (leaning backwards too much).
Once I fixed the position of my chair my back was fixed.
That was when I learned about the importance of a good chair
Strange though, I'm a PC gamer and I've been sitting in impossible positions in desk chairs my entire life

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

So true... at least for me...
I am having eye strains since 1+ yrs but I still love programming so much that I am ok to get blind in love with programming.

Yeah,
Doctor suggested me many things like don't spend much time with screens, gave some liquids and food habbits, etc. They changed my specs too.
But its just like asking alcoholic guy to quit drinking. I still sit 14+ hrs a day in front of my laptop.
I would probably take retirement early.

I couldn't spend that long looking at a lap-top without being in absolute agony!
Try using a decent sized external monitor with it and you'll probably notice a huge difference.

Thank you my friend.
Let me buy a 4K monitor. (I am afraid, it should not inspire me to sit with laptop even more. )
