It’s like COBOL, and Fortran, and whatever had enough traction to put down roots. Then someone had to come along and maintain it, so the new generation learns it, perhaps as a hardship, perhaps as job security. Indeed how many times have we said that BASIC must die? Yet here I am today building a !#@ing project with it.
It will die when no one learns it anew; that's the only way to kill it
