Thought I'd post the issue and solution as I am sure, on a rare, random occasion, this will happen to someone else.
I was working in Visual Studio and, while using my mouse device that I am about ready to throw against a wall, I accidentally grabbed the title bar to my Team Explorer and shoved it up so high, the title bar was no longer visible. That's pretty funny.
What I have tried:
I always thought that the user profile file contained those settings, but to my surprise, they are not stored in that file. I tried deleting a couple other files for laughs-n-giggles, but no luck. I suppose if I went to my windows user profile, I may had more luck.. However, what I did to recover my screen, I took my cursor, grabbed the bottom of the that window, and moved it up. The window resized to the screen dimensions. Voila! I'm back...
I was unable to purposely reproduce this issue. So, for unexplained magic, this mouse, and my hand, I was able to make it happen. Ugh... Problem solved.
As mentioned, just thought I'd post this just in case someone else runs into it and is about ready to throw their mouse device against the wall. :-)
