read and write xml files in asp.net

Hi......to all

first of all how to write the xml file,and that file is saved in required folder
exp:G:\lokesh\asp.net\sample1.xml
and
how to read the xml file and displayed in list box

replay me with clear example please...

please ~~ant~~ any one help to me

This is my short overview of the classes available in .NET:

Use System.Xml.XmlDocument class. It implements DOM interface; this way is the easiest and good enough if the size if the document is not too big.

Use the classes System.Xml.XmlTextWriter and System.Xml.XmlTextReader; this is the fastest way of reading, especially is you need to skip some data.

Use the class System.Xml.Linq.XDocument; this is the most adequate way similar to that of XmlDocument, supporting LINQ to XML Programming.
