CODE PROJECT QUERY

Because of drive space considerations, I have installed a number of microsoft developer products to a USB drive. It was done through a program that converts programs, and related install files, installed on a computer to a portable drive. The first converted app was Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2010. Although Visual Studio Express appears to work , there is a message:

The following files were specified on the command line:

These files could not be found and will not be loaded

Seeking the guidance of someone informed on such matters to inquire what files would have been requested during install and/or launch. Additionally, I did not see anything in the event log that would offer a clue.

Note:
The app " packagefactory" takes an installed app and its files, registry settings, etc. and installs them to the flash drive in a format known as "U3" compliant. It has worked, without issue, in other cases.

For a portable C# editor/compiler use SharpDevelop instead of VS Express, its only 50Mb ( I have minimized it to 10Mb [removed unwanted stuff I don't need, boo, vb etc.]).
