Animation Along a Path for Silverlight[^] is a very sweet article on animation and Silverlight. As I am going to be doing more R&D on Silverlight in the near future, this article is worth having around

Kind of tired of my picture from graduation in 6/2006. Kind of a fuzzy picture, maybe I can find a better one.

Have been putting together an auditing database for a client. This particular database is to keep track of usage, logins, etc, on their existing MS Access database (don't flame me over Access, not my decision).
Did a rapid prototype, they loved it, now tested it on my network, it craps out, doh! had to setup the auditor .dll on all machines I was testing on. No big deal. Have some rework to do on it, and we'll see how this pans out.

When testing, I was wondering why SQL Server 2008 was reporting that it couldn't find the server or instance specified, though SQL Server Management Studio could hook in remotely, well, that damn firewall

Have been taking a look at programming in .php again after not working with it for sometime. The reason being is to develop a sales/marketing database for my consulting firm. It is cruising along, not as fast as I had hoped, but getting there.

The laptop was not really syncing the time correctly, so did the following to fix:
(1) started up regedit
(2) went to the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\w32time\TimeProviders\NtpClient
(3) under SpecialPollInterval, set it to 21600 ( which is sync every 6 hours )
Problem then went away and time is staying in line better. Found how to do this on http://www.howtogeek.com ... dealing-with-windows-vista-time-sync-problems/[^]
