I'm not sure if that rates a "jammy bugger" or a "poor you" - since it doesn't show if your immune system is primed to "meet the invader" at all ...
I'm hoping it's the former option!

Same here Richard, and my sore arm wasn't much to write home about

Mine gave me a Grand Mal Seizure. Of course I got the flu shot in the other arm at the same time.

I had no side effects from the COVID or Shingles vaccines. On the other hand, the old live attenuated virus Typhoid vaccine had me laid up for a week while I recovered from a mild case of Typhoid.

i lost a ton of weight this year (literally, i used to weight 2140lbs). never thought to associate it with COVID shots. hmm.

What kind of lbs are these ? That's literally the weight of my car !

Have to wait 'til after Christmas to get my Borcestershire shots.

Meh.
I lose that sort of weight every time I check into hospital and sample their "wonderful" menu. My theory is that the hospital food is so bad to ensure that even the dumpster divers will want to check out ASAP.

Not so - possibly would have been considered a little to political for the Lounge with the US Senate invasion hearings still going on.

I did consider Watergate which is also too political

I thought of it earlier but put it on the back burner as there was a clue ( which you solved ) earlier in the month for mendacious

... and referring to "mendacity" in the Christmas party season is fairly political in the UK at the moment!!!
Unless of course all those well documented parties never actually happened. Honest guv.

I'm hoping S2 is better than season one, which felt a bit "thin" - it could have used longer episodes to get more story in.
It was good - but I was expecting a bit more from the books really.
Won't stop me watching S2 (in my copious spare time, of course).

I've been trying to get async DMA transfers working under the Arduino framework with the ESP32.
I found some magic code online that does it by tapping the ESP-IDF. I tried to do it and it wasn't working, even though I copied and pasted code (I thought)
This was frustrating me for two days.
I finally got it working. It feels really good. Now I'm running into other, more manageable problems having to do with implementing yet another driver on top of this code.
Still, progress. I'm so glad that's over.
