Blatantly = OVERT
cut = AXED
===============================
inordinately laden == OVERTAXED

Blatantly is an adverb, so its definition should be, i.e. OVERTLY.
This information brought to you by the grammar police. (Take that @OriginalGriff).

If you also send him a cat video and then compare him to Hitler you will have hit a social media Grand Slam.
If you can't laugh at yourself - ask me and I will do it for you.

I think the idea is to send a cute cat video.

Sandeep Mewara wrote: Can people confirm if it was okay? It's a good clue, I feel like I should have been able to solve it.
One of the first things I do when solving these is rewrite the clue with the more commonly used synonyms:
"Blatantly cut & inordinately laden" becomes "Blatantly cut & excessively burdened" As you can see it sometimes helps to locate a concealed definition. When I checked my notes... rephrasing the right side of your clue produces 'overtaxed' at the 7th position on my word list as the possible definition. I unfortunately looked right over it.
When I look at why I overlooked it... yes it was because of what Richard mentioned... the adverb 'Blatantly' was producing 'overtly'. The adjective 'overt' is not even on my associated word list.
Sandeep Mewara wrote: let him come up on Monday. No way, I crave puzzles that are hard to solve. This was a learning experience for everyone. If you would have written it as:
Blatant over cut & excessively burdened It wouldn't have lasted even 5 minutes... and there is no fun in that!
I kinda miss the difficult mini CCC produced by @Tim-Deveaux. They would go unsolved for days. Unfortunately Tim was playing Monopoly and bought the Water Works property but lost all the water. Then he rolled a hard two. Not sure if he had any cards left.

Sounds like a challenge that he has no words left in his bag to post as mini CCC now

How about making a new software?
