Why not - there might be a spider in it, and it's better to be safe than sorry.

That reminds me of something recent.
Quick Question: please raise your hand if you know someone (ie no need to self-identify) who would be offended by a set of promotional images featuring a man and a woman, around 30 years old. They are dressed normally. Totally nothing out of the ordinary. Just standing there.
Are there any (truly) offensive or off-putting (to you or someone you know) things about this image?
cheers

Nothing I can think of. Mind you, some peoples idea of "normal dress" is ... um ... a little odd.
(Google "people of walmart" and you'll see what I mean).

Yeah, but when a bug gets in the house who, even Mom, do they call?
That's right, Dad, the Bugslayer.

In our home, we call one of the cats...

You have to call them for this. Mine have always had a bug radar, even when asleep.

depends on the bug. I won't go near spiders. All mom's thing on that. But mice, snakes and other criters. I get to take care of them. Or the dog does.

At my house, we bring in a chicken or two. There is always one or two handing around any door, especially when it is either very hot or very cold outside.

Excellent! I've shared that with a few people.
Though, there are a few other ways to answer that subject line!

Ulver - Machine Guns and Peacock Feathers[^]
Ulver recently released a new album and it's awesome!
They started out in the early 90's as a typical 2nd wave of black metal band.
However, subsequent releases featured traditional folk, electronic, ambient and experimental rock music (and little to no black metal).
The new album is heavily influenced by the 80's, especially Depeche Mode.
While their style is pretty eclectic, their quality is consistent.
Machine Guns and Peacocks Feathers is especially poppy and its catchiness made it into Sound of the Week!

Not bad. Since not much new this week, here's two of the all-time greatest synth lines in music:
The Who - Baba O'Riley
Boston - Foreplay
And there was a little new: Captain Hook - Origin (with great visuals for over an hour of trippy greatness!)
Any other contenders for synth awesomeness? Can they knock those two off their throne?
Have a great day!
