Saw him live this weekend.
And while I still find him very good, I have to say that standup comedy is much better in smaller venues.
When you're at an arena you end up watching a big screen rather than the person directly, and in the case of Eddie Izzard you're missing out if you do that.

I agree.
When he was doing the European tour of Force Majeure I had the luck to buy tickets before he was sold out and my girlfriend and I went to see him.
He was hilarious and everyone could see him as he was performing in a theatre.
I am sorry for missing Jimmy Carr this year but he was sold out in a week.

I wonder why someone would write anything like this. Perhaps I am overreacting but these kind of comments do make me wonder whether I should even be doing all this article/Q&A stuff at all.

I have seen these comments before. They actually have nothing to do with your article. Last time it was also racial slur directed at members from the Middle East.

I have reported the comment as abusive and the member as abusive too.
I was just wondering about the extent to which some people go to vent out their frustrations and thus posted here. But i guess your words sums it up very nicely and i should keep them in mind before taking such petty issues seriously.

I will definitely not stop posting. As a matter of fact I am also getting benefited a lot by the valuable comments I get from others.
CodeProject is simply awesome. I can safely say that codeproject is one of the best places to learn from the community and I would like to keep doing what I do here for the near foreseeable future.

IIRC the only similar phrase that was said by him was "Remember that the dark side is always with you." which has nothing to do with the force (or 4th)?
I like the movies but I am not a die-hard fan of Star Wars, so maybe I am missing something?
