Hyh hot cocoa, a fireplace, snow outside and no need to go to work ... I truly envy you .
In my country even if its raining fire meteorites outside, you are obligated to go to work.

Last night my daughters where talking to eldest's God Father on Skype. After they'd finished they told me he was expecting snow last night.
I assumed he must be in Budapest but they insisted he was in Jerusalem. A claim I poo-pooed. I guess two smalls will have to get an apology tonight.

I saw some of the preparations on i24 News (English) - some big winds coming along with that.

What are your opinions on Windows or Apples Software. Which one has better software?

You are comparing Apples and Windows.
THESE PEOPLE REALLY BOTHER ME!! How can they know what you should do without knowing what you want done?!?!

Can't help, I'm afraid. I don't buy enough windows or apples to make investing in software to manage them worth the while.
I wanna be a eunuchs developer! Pass me a bread knife!

It really depends on what software you're referring to - I think Visual Studio is far better than XCode but a lot of things in Windows seem to be done to a 85% level (that's my finger-in-the-air opinion but I'm talking about doing things in SharePoint, Office and general Windows functionality that has needed improving since Windows 95, etc, but still exists in Windows 8.1).
I'd say that Apple's software is a lot more consistent (keyboard shortcuts, look and feel) - it often does less than on Windows but it's usually more logical and robust - what it does do, it usually does very well. Installing software on a Mac doesn't cause reams of random files and registry entries to be created (and left behind upon uninstall).
I started using a Mac back in 2012 (after a lot of grumbling) but now prefer to use OSX than Windows - it feels a lot slicker to use. Being a .NET developer I do still need Windows but perhaps that will change with ASP.NET MVC 6?
That's my two Krona's worth anyway

Considering how "Open" the Windows platform is and how comparatively "Closed" for the Apple world, the comparison is less straight forward. Personally, I like the idea that IBM PC type systems and the software that runs them is open to massively broad innovation without asking anyone's permission (e.g., no fear that warranty will be voided).
My suggestion? Compromise and go to Linux.

Apples and Oranges. Windows is much wider and open platform, considering it can work with so many different third party hardware configurations.

It all depends on the experience you want. Apple software tends to be like set of corridors; as long as you are content running down them, you are find. Want to depart from them, you are out of luck. Windows software tends to be like handing someone enough rope to hang themselves and may be even tying the noose. I prefer the latter.
