It's possible that you noticed the Christianity posts because you are sensitive to it, but other religions are bashed far more in the Lounge than Christianity is - specially Islam. There have also been mass generalizations of all Indians (that's an entire nationality) as cow-worshippers
So, it's not just your religion, people in the Lounge mock all religions equally I would say.

If you're Indian I'd like to apologize for my post about peanut butter on hamburgers.
I'll try to be more sensitive in the future.

Well, you are going to have to find a different Indian to apologize to This particular Indian is a passionate meat eater.

Indians who are passionate meat eaters are known as Cannibals.

I'm with John Simmons in that I think all religion absurd. However, I was raised in a conservative religion by devout parents so am ironically rather well versed in the bible and religion (though am a bit rusty in the former.) Back when I did believe, I quickly determined that the freedom to believe meant that others had the freedom to criticize. In fact, anything worth believing in is worth criticizing and if can't tolerate that, then it isn't worth believing.
In answer to your question:
Tim Carmichael wrote: Are Christians supposed to simply ignore the jabs and taunts?
The answer is an emphatic YES. It's a major point in Jesus' sermons and in the epistles. I cannot remember the specific reference now (I believe the one I am thinking of is in Romans), but I liked the advise to early Christians to live their religion quietly and patiently, live by example and let everything else roll of their backs. (There is also the classic, "Turn the other cheek.")
Tim Carmichael wrote: but history has shown that anyone who believes will be attacked.
History has also shown that those who don't believe will also be attacked. It also shows that when beliefs becomes a dogmatic force, bad things happen.

That is a relief. I, for one, would not wish to see you without your tunic.

38 "You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.

Maybe because this forum is not at all about religion? I'm sure you can find some somewhere, so why not choose the right forum for the right talking?

Morning peeps,
Has anybody got/used Ubiquiti Nanostation M5 or Ubiquiti ToughSwitch, if so any feedback?
NanoStation M5[^] / ToughSwitch[^]
Also,
Has anybody got/used XVision IP CCTV or XVision NVR, if so any feedback?
XC1080p[^] / XC1080BAP[^] / XRN2016 NVR[^]
I'm looking at using this setup for a multi-camera IP 1080p HD CCTV setup. The network gear will provide the POE for the cameras and the Nanostations will be used for a PointToPoint bridge ~20m

Fit like,
The sun has just broken out here (offshore), actually clear blue skies, after having think fog for the last 36hrs.
It was sunny in Aberdeen yesterday as the wife phoned to say they were sitting out in the garden.......

I've used the NanoStation with good results, but never really stressed the specs. We've had occasions when it was more cost effective to just plug in a pair of them than to trench and bury a cable.
