My wife has just upgraded her iPhone and it instantly makes you realise how crap it was before. Now it looks a lot more like my Windows Phone. Apple are learning it seems..

You've just made a big mistake:
Here in CP the CPians don't like to receive programming questions into the lounge, as you will be able to read just at the Lounge page top, to ask programming questions you have to use the programming forums...
Therefore, and before starting to receive attacks from everywhere, delete your post and replace it to the right place:
http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/ask.aspx[^]
or in the right one here: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Forums/List.aspx[^]
You will receive help if you follow the rules and if you make a clear question. Explain what you've tried, a small code block, clearly where are you stuck and what you need.
Good luck!

He's not asking for the code but for articles, web sites or how-to's on converting stuff using Java.
I reckon he's OK putting what he has here in the Lounge.

My Surface Pro compiled a C++ project faster than my monster desktop!!!
My monster desktop is from 2010 though.. but ran all my games very fine, has an 8 core i7 and a 240GB SSD!

This post is about MS Surface Pro ?
I'm planning to build my own Monster . I'll be here soon with my own brag.
Starting to think people post kid pics in their profiles because that was the last time they were cute - Jeremy.

Haha... I forgot to mention my monster has 12GB of RAM!
I know it's nothing to brag about, but it's the first time I got more than 4GB!
Mm... maybe this was about my SurfacePro AND my monster desktop!! ^^
Common, bring it on!

Does it have GPS?

I don't get it. I glanced over the specs for the Surface Pro and it said it has an i5 CPU and 4GB of RAM. You mention your desktop has an i7 CPU, 12GB of RAM and an SSD.
What makes the Surface faster than your desktop?

I heard somewhere that LeNi is dead. That would explain why he wasn't included.
BTW, I opened that link earlier today on my WP8 and it was a crappy experience. Menus, sidebars and other page sections were floating around seemingly independent of each other.

I know, it's an ugly web site, though it still seemed to display correctly on my Vista/Chrome.

Flu my rear-end. The folks below bemoaning flu they had for a couple of days are (IMHO INAD) talking rot. They've had a cold and it's about time they bug a box of man-size tissues.
I've noticed the prevelance in both e uk and oz of folk (men particularly) to use the word 'flu' when they mean 'a bit of a sniffle'.
As my Dr. friend was wont to tell me, the difference between a cold and flu is that , "wi a cold, you pray to get better; with flu you pray to die." (he was of Scottish extractions so read the above with an appropriately 'dads army we're doomed' accent for the full effect.

_Maxxx_ wrote: They've had a cold No, dude. We were talking about having flu-like symptoms after getting a flu shot. When I got that last year, I did not have a cold and I did not have the flu, but it sure felt like the flu.

"got the three day flu last year"
Sounds like talking about having flu to me.
Anyhow I was talking generically not specifically about those in that post.
