That is so lame.

Marks and Spencer introduced this and I simply don't bother shopping there anymore. Its smug environmentalism that is not based on facts, but rather observer bias as suggested in the article by the minster announcing it. Bags are unsightly, therefore they must be taxed. If they want unsightly the Lib Dems should check out the fat bergs in the sewers.

Well shopping is taxed at 20%. Got to make it even more irritating now when going shopping having someone at the checkout evil eye you on the bags you use. The UK getting increasingly lame every year.
