i just would quote (paraphrase ?) from the Lurianic Kabbala tradition: "trust nothing, question everything."
this would be ignored by the non-technical exec who was telling me that ... in a very complex "skunk works" prototype under development (in this case what became Acrobat) ... with just a little change "we" could have this shiny "feature."
i'd have different words, now

Nah, he hasn't gotten to that chapter yet. He is still trying to finish the previous one.

Progenie Terrestre Pura - Pianeta Zero[^]
Last week, I've been into atmospheric black metal.
A friend/ex-coworker of mine loves that stuff and he sometimes sends me some new music.
He sent me this one years ago and I stumbled upon it last week as it's still in my Spotify library somewhere.
It's really good stuff.
The band combines black metal with ambient and electronics, like IDM and psybient soundscapes.
It's still mostly black metal, but it works really well.
The album as a whole is great, but I had to pick a track so I'm going for the opener, Pianeta Zero

Some good Italian band I didn't know, will put them on sooner rather than later (but I'm currently headbanging on Arch Enemy).

Lately I found this Ophidian (by Phage), and now they are on repeat, when I have some free moments

Good one!
I guess the band is just starting out.
Can't find anything about them and they have only two songs on Spotify and YouTube and those are very recent.

Quote: I guess the band is just starting out Yes, I think so, but at the same time they sound quite mature, which is good ... Even Fallujah and Whitechapel come to mind and the vocals sound like ... Phil Bozeman. At first I was confused about their name "Phage", I thought it was "Ophidian", and I found a band "Ophidian I" at "Season of Mist" who BTW play excellent TDM/prog ( a collateral discovery thus ), but this "Phage" is idd nowhere to find ... Or it is a self-titled track Ophidian by Ophidian. I'am out of ideas ... Anyway, hopefully they will come with more tracks

Looked it up on Spotify instead.
Never heard of them, but apparently they're not very unknown.
It looks like it's a new-ish band on Spotify (first single from 2009), but their sound says otherwise
