I seem to have hit a brick will in trying to come up with an idea for an example app. The app will form the basis of several articles and blog posts, and I want to try and make my examples as practical and real world as possible. Any ideas for the basis of this app or series?

I want an app that can reply to my wife's endless texts throughout the day without her realising that it is not me who is responding, and then a short while before I leave work it should give me a summary of anything it has agreed for me to do before I get home.
Version 2 should be able to record my phone conversations with her with a view to taking them over too.
I love my wife very much, but she is off work on long term sick and she does get very bored.
