Hi All,
Long time no communicate but lets hope you guys can give advice... I am using Adobe Acrobat to view some PDF plans (which are large) twice now on different plans I have seen an oddity Acrobat finishes loading you start to go over the plan looking for a widget and it's not there, change the zoom level it suddenly appears! Has anybody else seen this or am I special? does Edge do it (I seem to remember Griff praising it for it's PDF skills)?
HELP!

I've not seen that problem, and I use Edge on my Surface, and Corel PDF Fusion on my desktop (it views and creates PDF files)

Yeah, Sumatra is my go to viewer. Plain and simple.

I just had it recently on a PDF I created with an old version of Photoshop. I recreated the PDF and the issue disappeared. Good luck with it!

If it is loading from a web site, it could be partially loaded.
Try downloading and launching from local. It might still behave similarly, but should finish loading faster.

I _think_ I hit this ( probably using Foxit ) and found that there can be "overviews" and "closeup views" in a pdf. It may depend on how the PDF was generated. This was a set of ( curse, mutter ) drawings that I needed to modify. ( Damnit, my clients get .dwg files. ) ( At least this was vector and there are good converters. )
If you can explain to the source that _real_ drawings are better for both of you-- Oh, if you could you would have.
I wouldn't expect it to be Adobe, _but_ I think that Thunderbird has done that to me with it's "sorta works" built-in viewer.

I've used all mentioned so far except the Corel one. I found PDF xChange Viewer/editor to be the best free viewer/editor. To insert (as opposed to append) or delete pages, I use some app that came with Paperport which came with a Brother printer I bought. But all of Paperport is atrocious in the user interface department. Good thing rarely want to insert or delete pages. If I did, I would spring for the paid version of PDF xChange.

Another "vote" for PDF Exchange from Tracker Software. It is a great product, and the support is first-rate for the very inexpensive paid purchased version.
I'd recommend trying it with that product and following up with PDF Exchange support if the issue continues using PDF Exchange.
Corel is also a great product.

The rabbit says, "I dunno, I'm only here because of autocorrect."
