The member ID, I had updated my username to be a custom one some time ago.

And the null terminator?
In my case I'd need
const char *memberNumber = "6122202\0"; You probably want
const char *memberNumber = "10983382\0";

I'm positive to have followed the instructions to the last letter. Probably a case like Kornfeld Eliyahu Peter's.

What? Doesn't a C string already have a null terminator?

It always has in every compiler I've used.
But ... the instructions are very clear: Quote: Once you have your member ID, look in your Challenge 2 code and find the line where your define your morse message. It'll look something like this:
const char *message = "codeproject\0";
Directly beneath this line, add the following line:
const char *memberNumber = "12345678\0"; Summer Fun with Arduino Challenge[^]
And I don't have an Arduino, so I can't check!

You're right, the \0 is added by the compiler and isn't necessary. I've updated the instructions to get rid of it.
I guess this is what happens after spending too many years in C# and Java land. I start to forget basic things like the fact that C compilers will null-terminate string literals.

I always end up putting the [] in the wrong place:
int[] arr; Just looks so right after all these years...

I think you entered the incorrect code.

I got refuse also (even I'm positive about it), but got into the participants list (just as you got in)... I 3-4 hour from now or Canadian friends will turn themselves on and we should have some answers...

Even I am listed as a participant but I can't say whether it is because of challenge 1 or 2.

Have you done challenge 1 in the new round? If not it is because of 2... (I didn't do 1 now and wasn't listed until enter code for 2 - and failed for no reason)

Hi Gaurav, you have followed the instructions correctly. There's a small issue with entering the code in challenge 2, which we working to resolve right now. Will post a message on the Lounge once it's fixed. Thanks for your patience.

I had the same problem, and reported it. CodeProject staff are investigating.

Thank you and the team. I successfully submitted the same code today.

Don;t put it in a code block: that disables automatic replacement.
@User-10476399 On it's own is fine.

When you paste into a message, you get a set of options on the right as to how you want it pasted: "As is" is probably the one you want.
