I tried that it didn't work - thanks anyway

Time magazine announced it has selected Elon Musk as Person of the Year Award for 2021 in a vote by the Time editorial board. It raised three questions:
- Baby Boomers asked who is Elon Musk?
- Gen Xers asked what's Time's Person of the Year Award?
- Millennials asked what's a magazine?
-- Argus Hamilton, Rogue Report 15-Dec-2021

Time Person of the Year - Wikipedia[^]
Quote: Despite the magazine's frequent statements to the contrary, the designation is often regarded as an honor, and spoken of as an award or prize, simply based on many previous selections of admirable people.[9] However, Time magazine points out that controversial figures such as Adolf Hitler (1938), Joseph Stalin (1939 and 1942), Nikita Khrushchev (1957) and Ayatollah Khomeini (1979) have also been granted the title for their impact on events.[10]

He probably makes perfume.

A glossy piece of paper with your picture on it.

It's like a clickbait site, but with less adverts.

Eh, I tried reading Wired several times and had to dodge so many adverts. Also all the gun magazines (no not gun magazines, gun magazines) available in my country are full of adverts to the brim.

Outside of his political and religious views and his financial status, I like Elon. I think he is major technological influence for mankind.
Like him or hate him, he is fighting the good fight, IMHO.

Agreed.
In a world increasingly full of truly horrible politicians, gawd awful "news" media and woke celebritards Elon is a breath of fresh air.

Not because I felt he would be / was a great president. While I didn't much care for his personality and arrogance I did prefer many of his actual policies. Definitely better than the drivel coming from the feckless moron in the oval office now.

His views on almost everything seem inconsistent, to put it mildly. His financial status doesn't bother me, but how he obtained much of it does. He's often highly entertaining[^], though!

I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.
