To me CCCs are gibberish - and they are even in my language. Wordle is much easier for me.

It took me four tries to beat a Wordle game.
Ten years of CCC and I'm still none the wiser

I'd rather you didn't - die that is!
As an aside, a couple of years ago someone signed my email up to an American company, so I keep getting emails with the subject "Die happy tonight" which was rather disconcerting - turns out it's a New York lap dance club ... if I find out who it was ...

I didn't say I wanted to die right after solving a CCC

Nope - I've seen what they look like in movies!

For me, solving a CCC is a million times easier than setting up one. Often it is the fear of setting up the next CCC which discourages me from giving the solution.

Don't worry, your CCC makes no sense to me...
I'll sooner die (unhappy) of natural causes than solve a CCC
Also, I didn't say I'd have to die right after solving one

It's an anagram of orchestra giving carthorse ( hard worker )

A carthorse is a very sturdy breed of a shire horse typically used for heavy hard work

That's better than me. I remember the first iteration of wordle I tried. Nowadays it's a 5 letter word, but back in my day it was a single letter and you got 26 tries to get it right. I don't know how I lost, but I did.

2 weeks ago, dismissing the existing messy infrastructure to synchronize object tree in the current codebase (basically automatically synchronizing data with view models, recursively), I created a whole new single class to do the work, in a much better way. Took about 3 days to be fully functional (about 1,200 lines of code overall).
And then I pushed that to the codebase....
And then subtle bugs piled up and I realized I had suffered from hubris and I was falling... (very happy to finally use this word "hubris" in a personal and meaningful context), it was a rather stressful time, but after 2 days of intense testing and unit testing.. all problem were solved, even had a performance check.. and now it's all blue sky!
I suffered from hubris, hence defied the gods, but I ended up victorious, feeling pretty good about it!

The gods are overrated. What you need is a little witchcraft, and then you will no longer tip toe around them.
To err is human. Fortune favors the monsters.

Well, true,.. In that case the gods is the overwhelming pressure from everyone complaining there are failing test in the build farm... Everyone being potentially tens of thousands of other developers...
The gods are merciless, as we all bloody well know...
But I did my witchcraft successfully, and appeased them, it seems...

Ever since I started reading your posts I've thought you were a witch. A good one, but still a witch.

What? Sounds interesting.. I'd like to work on AI one day...
Although, for lucky me, might happen without changing job (since they do AI too at EA! )
|
|
|
|
|
So EA has made AI in all of their games?
Well, AI clones that is .
|
|
|

I suppose... There is a few AI team... I have not been working with any of them yet, but some in my team have!
