I turned off hibernate in Win10 as it caused a memory leak in the Desktop Window Manager, which kept growing when using a second monitor. Of course the first startup is a lot slower now.

After I installed the latest Windows 11 update, the following apps stopped working on my machine:
Visual Studio 2019. Didn't MS test the update on their own products?
Killer network card settings app.
APC UPS settings app
Canon printer / scanner Quickstart app
Projects on Android Studio got corrupted. (Thank heavens I had backups.)
I reverted the machine to a systems image from before the update, and all works great now. Now I am blocking updates for the time being.
This update really sux MS!

I'm kind of annoyed that my personal machine does not support Windows 11 (Motherboard does not have TPM)
I usually like being on the edge of technology (and my personal PC is just a gaming PC, so I don't care about reformatting)
Work PC will not be updated until whenever IT decides it is safe to do.

Does it have a TMP2 header? Most fairly modern motherboards do, and you can buy TMP2 modules for about £10 on Fleabay / Amazon.

I do not think we do the cough thing anymore. I think we are supposed to do it like this:

Terra (LUNA) loses 99% of value in less than 24 hours[^]
Ouch. That's going to hurt some people, a lot.
Still got Crypto? It may be too late to get out already ... I can see the general downturn taking a nosedive if too many people start to cut their losses.

The general market yes, but the people behind Luna were promising a guaranteed 20% return; so they were running a ponzi scheme and just haven't been arrested yet.
According to the font of universal knowledge known as random people on twitter Luna/etc's cratering was the result of heroes in private equity nuking them for their own profit.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

She hasn't spoken up against them, so yes. This article states, "Amway ... used Betsy DeVos to push through deregulations of MLMs and pyramid schemes, ...", but does not source it. Having been in Amway, and seen how they parade the husband and wives of the top earners at their events, I have no doubt she somehow involved, and wishes MLMs to succeed.

I thought he was too smart for the NFT scam but may have forgotten about the pyramid scam.
OTOH, my brother was furious when his wife sent $1K to one. She made $9K from it. Go figure.

It is nice to get in at the bottom. Selling up to a week ago would also have been good. But not selling ... Maybe not so good. Although I see the 'pushers' are already dreaming of further reapings...

I invested for "fun" and due to my prone to addiction personality, I ended up putting lot more money than I should have. Still nothing life harming but I am currently 87.5% in loss.

Ouch indeed.
Easy to make jokes when you have no skin in the game. I don't. As long as it is unregulated, many will use it for hidden money transactions. Another lot will make money from those who have no clue. As the man said, one born every minute (2 born to take him).
