Hmmm, am I misunderstanding something?
Googling midi usb-to-DIN brings up an abundance of products such as this.
[EDIT:] And do intercept on the USB side?

No. It doesn't work like that.
The problem is not physically connecting MIDI to USB
The problem is USB works different than MIDI
There no way to pass a MIDI connection through a device for intercept using USB because USB simply does not work that way.
In order to do it I'd need to make my gadget emulate a PC and put a USB-A port on one end of it, making that a USB-OTG host.

Sorry, I just realized my previous response may have read as hostile. I didn't intend that. I'm just frustrated that they didn't carry this basic functionality forward. It's more a USB limitation but still.

I do not search backward so the list still empty - but it is decided...
(what not decided yet is where to start my global tour - as one, who barely leaves the house and the forest it would be an other interesting challenge)

I know what you mean - I don't even have a passport anymore (which I use as an excuse to not have to enter England).

As an American and thus truly ignorant about the whole political makeup of that island, was that a joke or do you really have to show passport going from Wales to England and then I guess again going into Scotland? If so then the UK is not as U of a K as I thought.
If it wasn't a joke then maybe some of the politicians here might want to take note (That's the last I'll say or respond to about that subject. Don't want to be banned.)
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.

It's a joke.
But ... you used to have to pay to enter Wales from England, but not to enter England from Wales (Severn Bridge Toll).

i'm only curious as i just got here and after a good 4 hours I've recieved no response to one of my own. I realize sometimes it takes a while for people to reach a concrete solution to a problem, but i've not been asked for clarification or anything on it either so maybe it just takes days for anything on this forum to get noticed or maybe there's some setting whereas my question cannot be seen because i'm new.
this is the place for those kinds of questions right?

Well, it's a Sunday so most of the Western world is not working. It's also early in the morning here, and late night for the US so that doesn't help you get an instant response.
Then there is the question itself:
Quote: How do I calculate the wind direction and speed based on 2 pressure fronts using python's math module?
hi thank you for checking out my question, it's a really simple question but i'd like to know how to calculate the wind direction and speed of that wind given external factors such as pressure fronts. any help on this matter would be appreciated.
What I have tried:
so far I haven't tried anything, i'm merely at this point testing the community and how it will react as this is my first post. i came from stack overflow and was hoping for a an alternative to that community as it has become far more strict, ridiculous, and in general is just kinda dead and useless now.
It's vague, but specialized - you need Python developers who work with meteorology to read it before you get a reply. And adding "so far I haven't tried anything" doesn't help you at all because it generally comes over as "I can't be bothered, do my work for me". And there is no detail at all!
Then you go on to slag off SO which (although I might agree with the sentiment) isn't a polite thing to do, even if they are a "competitor site".
So ... you want "your work done for you in a specialised area, in a specific language, and if you don't get it you'll slag CP off somewhere else" is the way your question reads. That may not be how you meant to write it but that's certainly how I read it!
Would you want to spend your personal time to answer such a question, even if you could?
