I had my eyes lasered in 15 years ago to remove my myopic glasses, so far I still have the 105% I got back after the operation...
I will very, very probably (almost for sure) end having glasses for near distances (PC, read and so on) but I will embrace them after all these years without wearing anything else but sunglasses at will.

Same here, I had an 18-year run before needing glasses again. In my case, arm's length didn't do the job so had them redone so the focal point (if that's what it's called) is further away. They're okay for reading something on printed paper, help a bit for the computer, but make things worse for things that are farther away.
I'm guessing I need a separate pair for distance, as that is also not as great as it used to be.

Varifocals. Best of all worlds, provided you don't have to do close up work above your head ...
I used to have three pairs: walk-about, reading, computer - but I was forever wearing the wrong ones, and when driving I could see road signs clearly, but not the instruments. Varifocals fixed both of those problems.

That's what I have

I have been wearing varifocals for years, so I can see close up, computer screen and distance without difficulty. i do have a pair of reading glasses for reading in bed, as my eyes are usually tired by then.

Good show. I had cataracts removed. Installed close up lens for left eye, distance lens for right eye. (no lenses for other eyes).
Wear glasses for driving car (distance lens for left eye, plain for right. Do have computer glasses but don't use them all that much.
Glasses free 90% of the time. Life is good.

I like glasses, but with my eye sight, they are becoming a burden (even with really thin lenses $$$ ).
I am/was planning to get my eyes "lasered" (actually, not lasered but something akin to cataract surgery), but something else came out.
Maybe next year.

Haha, I am just about stuck in a loop on YouTube now, because after that video played the following one auto-started & I could not turn it off. You just can't stop that song. It's so compelling.

thanks for asking.
It does seem to be resolved.
I play music from my iphone all day long (via spotify or pandora).
Even though neither of those apps is on my watch, the watch would obtain the current playing song info and display it when my watch became active.
I had to find the setting to turn that off and I found this article: How To Turn Off Apple Watch Now Playing Music Controls - iOS Hacker[^]
However, that is for an older apple watch, but I was able to get it turned off on mine.
The battery lasts about 2 days now. Thanks,

Awesome thanks for the link.
Had the incredible luck to see them in concert several years ago, they were everything I expected and more.
I've been a huge fan of there's for more years than I care to admit.

Quite a prolific guy. I have the first two or three albums, so it was interesting to hear this. The write-up said prog, symphonic, and rock. I'm a prog fan but didn't hear much serious prog in this. The title puzzled me, but the Largo cover finally showed up on the second last track. And then concluded with a great cover of Be My Baby, which also fits the title.

I liked this one the best: You Are The Light[^]
Edit: 20 minutes later, the lyrics of Goin' Home[^] touched me. I am looking forward to 'going home'.
Edit 2: I've got it on repeat for the hour, love it, goes great with red wine mood.
Edit3 i hate google ads
Edit 4: Goin Home has captured my heart. I found the lyric sheet.
Goin' home, goin' home
I'm just goin' home
Quiet like, some still day
I'm just goin' home
It's not far, just close by
Through an open door
Work all done, care laid by
Goin' to fear no more
Mother's there specting me
Father's waiting too
Lots of folk gathered there
All the friends I knew
All the friends I knew
Nothing lost, all's gain
No more fret nor pain
No more stumbling on the way
No more longing for the day
Goin' to roam no more
(insert paragraph break here)
Morning star lights the way
Restless dream all done
Shadows gone, break of day
Real life just begun (delete paragraph break)
There's no break, there's no end
Just a living on
Wide awake with a smile
Goin' on and on
Goin' home, goin' home
I'm just goin' home
It's not far, just close by
Through an open door
Through an open door
I'm just goin' home I am looking forward to going home. I am not afraid, I am ready.
Here's the song with lyrics, I think it's beautiful words[^].

A lightning strike was very close at 6:30 this morning - the flash and bang were simultaneous. Multiple circuit breakers popped, the cable internet modem is out (I'm using my phone as a hotspot), both the TV its cable box are out, and the well electronics are out.
I can't see any spot (tree, roof, ...) that was the local end of the strike, but it sure was loud! The dog gave me a dirty look like it was my fault
