Harry Styles - Music For a Sushi Restaurant[^]
A different SOTW this week.
It's actually a pop tune by a mainstream pop artist.
I'd heard his name, but didn't know his music, until a friend told me she listened to him and even went to two of his concerts in two weeks (one planned and one delayed by COVID).
Apparently, Harry Styles is all the rage right now and critics and fans really love him.
He was a member of another mainstream pop boy band I never heard, One Direction.
So I gave it a listen and it's actually pretty nice and upbeat music that gets stuck in your head.

Yeah, Nah. I got about a minute into this one.
<HalfSeriousRant>
Can't stand boy bands or when they split up and go solo. No talent and all so manufactured by record labels.

Sorry. But having said that I didn't mind Robbie Williams.
Going to plug (unashamedly) some Aussie music again. This is a punk bank out of Melbourne that I've been listening to lately.
Amyl and The Sniffers - Guided By Angels - YouTube[^] (some strong language).
Kind of odd listening to punk where singer has a distinctive bogan[^] accent.

Sorry. But having said that I didn't mind Robbie Williams. Agreed on both accounts.

Well I like the horns anyway -- not so much the rest of the track though.
Thanks for sharing Sander!

Nice set. Heard some Fatboy Slim in there

This bass line is enjoyable, but the track as a whole is not my cup of tea
But ... inspired by David, I found this Trampsta

The visuals of both Trampsta and Will Sparks are scary from time to time, each in its own way ...

It is indeed amazing to see that their moves are completely up-to-date
Trampsta is quite inventive with visuals

Also nice, but what's the original of this song?
It may even have been SOTW years ago...

In short, Germany: Face up, feet first, going downhill rapidly? Too wet for me! (6)

That's three this month Richard have you been swatting up ? I'd of guessed the answer but luge would never have occurred to me.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!" - Hunter S Thompson - RIP

It started fine, but then it went downhill rapidly.
(As in Milton Jones' joke: "My grandfather: we covered his back in lard; after that he went downhill rapidly")

It just slid away from me.

I always thought of that as an American expression. Do you Brits use the same?

I don't.
