I was leading you on!

And I fell for it

Perhaps we should have a whip round and buy him an "N" for his name.

Tom, do you know the answer ?

Yes, he does!

Then why doesn't he put us out of our misery.

He always knows the answer. Most times he gives the impression he doesn't but I swear he gets it before you post the clue. He's in your mind, lurking, watching, thinking...
If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

Wrong protagonist, it's Freddy that's in your mind, our guy is all to real!
I think V. does, or should anyway
Jesus indeed!
Even with enough clues to get the answer, the solution isn't obvious.
Once you see it though, 1st of July to 1st of November is a cracker of a derivation.

I did. Down below. Come on, the day should have given it away.
Hint. Friday the 13th.

I didn't make the association between Friday 13 and him, I do like the clue for Jason though.

Just read your post Tom. Very subtle.

Oh, for God's sake!
You should have merged it with the MQOTD.

Who doesn't get it as Jason Voorhees?
For those who don't get it:
July to November = JASON (July, August, September, October, November)
Five = V
Ducks = OO
Rook = R
Hard = H
Drugs = EE
Point = S
I got 1st July (J), 1st November (N), Five (V), one Duck (O), Rook (R), Points (one of NEWS) and that was it. The name I'd never have latched onto as I never heard of the series itself, until now.
If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

Ignore my earlier post it's not who I thought it was. I'd never have got it as I'm one of those people who don't watch TV or films.

Another user must now go through purgatory. Don't worry, I got belted across the bonce with a sack of cement twice in one week. You got off lightly.

What's worse is that there's more than one of them, Leslie.
