That would be one more reason that I wouldn't buy an iPhone. Right now I've got an old flip phone and the battery will last a week to 10 days on a charging if that gives you any idea as to how much I use it.

I think apple is showing a great spirit of co-operation -- MS and Samsung have been looking for an iphone killer, and apple found one for them.
I can't see the device selling in any country other than the States.
It's remarkable how the US "security" forces have managed to allay the fear of ter'r'rists by themselves becoming more frightening than bombs.

My missus has just ordered one, but then she's an idiot.
A few months ago she bought an iPhone 5 from someone she works with for £80 and sold her 4s to someone for £200.
Now that same person wants the 5 so she is selling it to him for the cost of her upgrade to a 5s plus £60.
Maybe she's not such an idiot after all.

The great spelling of 'committed' (i think that is what is meant with commuted)
Or the fact that this person clearly states that the criminal has more right to murder than the law abiding citizen has to safety/protection against murderers...
How can you be pro something convenient that you give permission to be stored but not allowed to be held countable if it is to be traced as proof to past/present murders(crimes)...

You do realise that the article's cited source is an onion-style news website (cause the linked site doesn't seem to)? With articles like 'Why We Should Kill The Mexicans', 'Popular Science Champions Juggalo Science with Comment Shut Down' and 'Gay Trash Runs Decent God-fearing White Folk Out of Town' I really don't see how anyone can think this is real information.
Also from the article, quoting the supposedly Apple employee Tim Richardson (who appearantly only exists in relinks of the article):
"Frankly, if a person is foolish enough to allow something as specific and criminally implicit as their fingerprints to be cataloged by faceless corporations and Government officials… Well, you can’t exactly blame us for capitalizing upon it, can you?"
I mean, come on, really?

Obviously fake. But it's true anyway. If the NSA asks, they will have to deliver.

Well, Apple have said, that there's no database, everything is local and only hashes of fingerprints are stored. The phone can hold up to 5 of those with some of them belonging to others, for example you spouse, so it would also be unreliable and incomplete.
I'm not saying that there can't be a backdoor just because Apple have said so, but most of the concerns are just plain paranoia. Lot of countries require passports to contain fingerprints (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biometric_passport[^]), so if any government would want to collect such info, they be better of with this than a phone used by only a small fraction of people.

Apple says many things. Remember that location database that supposedly didn't exist?

This way it's not just your govt that has your prints (which, by the way, you can refuse to give them - just don't get a passport), it's the NSA.

To put this in proper perspective: how useful do you think it would have been in the late 1930s and early 1940s.

Any one use hydrilized whey isolate here ? When I mix it in water it smells a bit like pee. Is this how whey isolate normally smells or has it gone bad ?

Hi,
I also use alot of protein powder when I am on a bulking cycle. The smell could be coming from the amino acid Taurine. Yes... it is possible that it is extracted from cattle urine. No pain; No gain. Right?

Ah! OK. Thanks. The smell is not unbearable though. It's a weird biological odour. I was worried if the powder had gone bad after being exposed to high temperature for too long. It must have been there all the time. Maybe I notice it now because my sense of smell may have gone up a few notches from the zinc supplement tablets.

I am leaving tomorrow AM for Las Vegas to get married! The realness is just starting to set in, though this has been planned for 3 months now, and we have been shacking up for 8 years now. This is my first and last...i won't divulge which number it is for her, but it's > 2. Anyhow, it promises to be a fun vacation and ceremony!
