People can only tolerate something negative. Nobody has to tolerate anything neutral or positive. So no, tolerance is not a good value.

So when someone hold a viewpoint that differs from yours, the other guy is wrong and you can't cooperate?

Understanding and acceptance are much better than tolerance. Tolerance will end at a certain point: you will tolerate cold, pain, hunger and annoyance, until you won't. But if you understand the point of the opter people and accept it, there is no point in the future when this will end - until they move the goalpost, obviously.

There's no discussion, and it ain't important.
There's real problems that need adressing; renaming my favourite sauce ain't gonna help in any way.

It always amused me why anyone would name the ability to open Control Panel as "God Mode"?

Haven't seen it since Vista days, but I just remember it as a convenient way into assorted settings. Nothing you couldn't get at in some more convoluted way.

You mean, pre-Vista, where everybody was running everything in admin mode?
[Edit]
Oh. That control panel thing. Yeah, it's still around.

There's nothing in Windows "God" mode that you can't do via the control panel. In some cases you have to dig, but it's all there.

Accurate and funny if it happened though ...

If all the electorate voted with blank slips, I assume the 100% of the vote would be discarded as "spoiled votes". This begs the question what would happen if only one person in a voting district cast a valid vote? Would the candidate be elected on the strength of the single vote?

Personally, I think elections would be much better if they all had to have a "none of the above" option ...

I wish we had a None of the Above on all ballots. If None of the Above gets the majority then the position is left empty, or if it's not required by a constitution, is eliminated.
