Sadly, I get an error 'attempted to read or write protected memory' on the call to SHGetPropertyStoreForWindow.

Most of it was copied from the Windows API Code Pack, where comments are ninjas. They can't be seen.

Did you know that the actor and actress who played Sherlock's parents were played by Benedict Cumberbatch's parents!
(And were not listed in the credits)

I do know that Watson's wife to be is Martin Freeman's wife.

Yes, all very nepotistic.

Enjoyable though. Looking forward to Sunday's episode.

Cumberbatch is a fascinating actor to watch, but, for me, his performance as Sherlock is among his worst ... but, that could, imho, reflect the dubious value of transposing he and Watson to a more modern era, and what I perceive as rather poor screenwriting.
Cumberbatch as Hawking was magnificent.
Happy New Year !

We had a good laugh over it all. I thoroughly enjoyed it but princess was very skeptical when she said the use of a ball to suppress the wrist pulse was pointless. She said the carotid artery pulse would be the one checked where there is cranial trauma involved.
She also pointed out that even though a ball was used under one arm he'd have had to use one under each arm because he could not have predicted which pulse the esteemed Dr. J. Watson would have checked. Apart from that, the acting as usual, was quite superb.
The special effect showing the detonation of the Palace of Westminster was most inspiring!
If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

Slightly off-topic here. How does he sound to a Western ear? To me, as an Indian, apart from few phrases it was totally understandable.

His accent was so heavy I had to read the captions to understand what he was saying or I would not have understood him at all.

What an amazing young man, and an inspiration to all! Don't worry about the kid sister rule; every one of them will one day need this man's product. It's never too early to learn about reality.

He sure is. Found[^] the website of his company on web. Not really a fully functional website though. If I was a web developer, I would extend some help to make it better.
I also found this[^] piece of information on web.
