I believe the proper response is:
"I've just had an unhappy love affair, so I don't see why anyone else should have a good time."

*grin* Funny, it's decades since I read those books, and I still know what you're talking about.

Ah well... Still don't remember it... I guess old age has caught up to me!!

If you knew it at all, you would not forget it. Started as a radio play, became a series of books, then a TV show, then an AWFUL movie.

You twit... I remember reading Hitchiker's Guide back when it was a trilogy (in England in 1992)... I don't remember that particular quote.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!

It's from the original radio series, when Arthur gets his Babel Fish inserted. The Vogon Captain is making an announcement and that's part of the first translation Arthur hears: the Captain announcing a search for Ford and Arthur, and cancelling all planet leave for his crew.

To be accurate it was a trilogy in four parts.

To be more accurate, there were more than four parts in the end, five I think.

Yes but it was introduced as a trilogy in four parts - oh never mind - it is a fantastic book, even my wife who is totally non sci-fi non techie loved it, she often uses "thanks for all the fish" when we return from an evening out ( strange woman )

Some people just read it. To others, it became a way of life...
It's the Vogon captian, before reading his poetry.

I am currently working on a Web Browser, which is based on Chromium/CEF/Xilium.CefGlue.
I am thinking of adding an integrated (through an AddIn) BitTorrent client to it, but want to see what you guys think.
A Few AddIns:
* BitTorrent Client (see above)
* FTP Client (Upload/Download/etc)
* SSH Client (If I find a suitable terminal control)
* Web Developer Tools (Like Firebug/Chrome Developer Tools)
Any ideas for AddIns/Features/etc? I want to hear them!

You're writing a browser, not just putting an IE control on a form ? that's interesting.
I would think there's a good percentage of people who like to steal things online and who would be drawn to being able to do so automatically.

Hey now, there are legitimate uses for Bittorrent.
I have no idea what they are, but I'm told that they are out there...

Yes, and I'm sure they are used for that, all the time.
I also used to buy Playboy for the articles.....

You bought Playboy?
I was far too embarrassed, and so resorted to theft.

I was being sarcastic. I did buy some British publications around the age of 16, but never Playboy. I did go to stores in the middle of nowhere where I was sure no-one knew me.

At around that age my friends and I found, in a large wastebin in the local park, a large (and I mean LARGE) quantity of what, especially back in those days, was pretty hard core pornography. It was varied, from the reasonably table to the completely perverted.
Being normal teenagers, we immediately dug a cave in the side of the railway embankment, took the trunk off a kids tricycle, and hid the magazines away - where it became our local library for the next year or two.
Looking back, I think that's when I became a complete perv.

We used to find them in our Boy Scout paper drives. They got reused rather than recycled.
