Happy Birthday, Ravi !
Curiosity, and the desire to continually learn, are, I believe, among the best of life's appetites:
"I'm an artist: it's self evident that word implies looking for something all the time without ever finding it in full. It is the opposite of saying : 'I know all about it. I've already found it.' As far as I'm concerned, the word means: 'I am looking. I am hunting for it. I am deeply involved.' " Vincent Van Gogh
“I speak in a poem of the ancient food of heroes: humiliation, unhappiness, discord. Those things are given to us to transform, so that we may make from the miserable circumstances of our lives things that are eternal, or aspire to be so.” Jorge Luis Borges

One can only pray that they will soon be joined in deserved silent obscurity by such tinnitus-spawning noise-machines as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Black Sabbath, and the rest of the 1970's plague of stadium-rock bands who, collectively, proved that raging hormones don't know melody and harmony from long-haired gymnasts on amphetamines: [^].

I've never really 'got' AC/DC
The others, though, are a fondly remembered part of my yoof - although I have absolutely no desire to see them tour in their dotage.
Queen, certainly , knew what a harmony was.

They'd have trouble touring, though.

Those who enjoy music from before the invention of AutoTune can tune in (sic) to my (tiny) Internet radio show on Friday evenings (9 pm UK time) - it called Wrinkly Rock. I am not sure if I am allowed to post a link here though.

You've been here long enough... post the damn link!!

No show this Friday due to Easter festivities, but most Friday evenings you can tune in to UKNR[^]

Hi
I'm creating a personal website where I will put my resume, sites I did, programs I've written
now choosing site style and I'm not sure if I can use metro style for this purpose.
is it good for this or should I find something else?
|
|
|
|
|
IMO, Metro style is a good idea, but if you want it to look professional, make it as simple as possible. Interactive, eye-catching, and at the same time, very simple and readable. That, IMO, will also attract prospective employers/companies if you are going to apply on a job.
Don't mind those people who say you're not HOT. At least you know you're COOL.
