Trying to learn something.
Step one - search BOL
Step two - try code from BOL
Step three - IntelliSence lets me know bad column names, put in the correct column names for table
Step four - run code
Works!
Step five - annotate code by putting in comments at the end of the lines and rerun
(This should work as it drops the trigger then recreates it.)
Error trigger already exists.
It seems Microsoft's code does not drop the trigger. It checks if the trigger exists but drops a different object.

That's so funny because it happens in all of the things Microsoft touches. It just has to be on purpose, it has to be.

I make a nice living because of them. Thank goodness their products are not perfect and they have SDKs to make them better.
Just saying.

Given the programmer's I've worked with, I would strongly disagree.

Dunno. Do you count placing leg-amputated frogs under the couch as a token a love under social skills? Not that that's a kind of skill I'm good at

Hmmmm..... I never tried that. I wonder if that would have made a difference in any of my failed relationships
I'll have to give it a try in the one

I thought wire coat hangers are what socks became in the dryer: socks are coat hanger "caterpillars" that morph in to hangers. That's why there is almost always at least one sock missing from the dryer and a new coat hanger in a closet.
