Thanks a ton,

Detroit ain't gonna benefit in the slightest.
All the money goes to the aftermarket and labor. Which brings up an interesting question (interesting to me anyway) - How many different manufacturers will be represented?
Dart (block)
Air Flow Research (heads)
TrickFlow (cam)
Wiseco (pistons and rings)
RPM (crankshadft, connecting rods)
Clevite (main/rod bearings)
Fel-Pro (gaskets)
COMP (timing set and pushrods)
Ford Racing (valve covers, air cleaner, lifters, lifter spider kit, plug wires)
MSD (ignition module, coil, and distributor)
QuickFuel Technologies (carburetor)
Melling (oil pump and cam thrust bearing)
Moroso (oil pan, pickup, dipstick)
Tremec (transmission)
RAM (clutch and flywheel)
Exedy (throwout bearing)
Ford (pedal assemblies from earlier cars, crank trigger wheel from earlier car, trans cross member, head gaskets, and timing chain cover)
Edelbrock (intake manifold)
Accufab (custom headers)
ARP (bolts, studs, and other fasteners)
Milodon (oil pan studs)
Aeromotive (fuel pressure regulator)
AED (throttle cable bracket)
Fragola (fuel line and various fittings)
Parker (fuel line)
Scorpion (rocker arms)
Crane (valve springs)
NGK (spark plugs)
Spicer (u-joints)
Strang (trans and rear end driveshaft yokes)
BMR (K-member)
Gates (belts and hoses)
Another thing that kinda smacks you in the face is how many parts it takes to build an engine from nothing. I don't even have spare nuts and washers that applicable, so I have to buy *everything*. I think when it's all said and done, the motor will be right at $11k. Effectively, nothing but the radiator will be retained, and we may even just go ahead and replace that.

I'm not sure whether there were pictures, or if I'm mistaking your Apocalypse Horse with the Booger mobile. Anyways, pictures of that monster?

The car is here[^] (and the web page is somewhat dated in terms of content).
I won't have pictures of the engine until I get the parts, once more after it's built, and then copious pictures of the process of getting it in the car. Until then, you can google "427w stroker", and then go to images to see pics of other people's engines.
I'm going to need a photographer/videographer to document the process as we do it, because I'll be doing a lot of the work myself.

I'm not really interested in going faster than the car will already go, so I feel like the brakes and motor are fine as they are.
That's pretty outdated, isn't it?
I'd love to have a Mustang, too - But with Gas prices of ~1,92$ per liter you won't get far, except you use it as your second car. That said, I'm thinking of getting a Focus[^] somewhen next year, which spares me gas but still has plenty of space.

Yeah, but eventually, everything gets outdated.

Hi All,
I think I have all the features from the 'wish' list incorporated to my current project, it looks like its working. I have had to battle instruments that to quote my Boss "Elephanters to work with, documentation like a drunk monkey has written it!", a customer who is a little scary (but nice to me?). Not a great system, plus I got the 'if you're more comfortable in C# why didn't you write it in that' (despite my plea's at the start, subsequent complaints in the lounge resulting in offense to some). The small fact is these things I'm testing don't have any documentation, I have always done ATE work based on the hand test procedure (meaning questions of 'how do you do X', reply 'ask Y', Y reply 'why do you want that?', me 'Well it will cause issues if I don't!'). Just need to make sure I have followed the correct procedure for one the tests. Thanks to Griff & others who know the pain I am going through and sorry for poor questions in Q&A!!
