One of favourites is an Llamados miners' lament:
"Gold.
Gold gold gold.
Gold gold?
Gold gold gold gold,
Gold gold gold.
Gold?
Gold gold gold!
Gold gold,
Gold gold gold gold
Gold gold gold..."

Delightful to have something about poetry on the Lounge !
If I have to limit myself to poetry that uses rhyme, then I'd have to choose: Milton's "Sonnet on His Blindness:" [^], the first poem I ever memorized (at age ten).
“I speak in a poem of the ancient food of heroes: humiliation, unhappiness, discord. Those things are given to us to transform, so that we may make from the miserable circumstances of our lives things that are eternal, or aspire to be so.” Jorge Luis Borges

You did not read all the answers above, did you ?
Yes, Milton, of course. I could have mentioned several from him, and the one you linked to is great !

Has anyone seen this[^] series yet? I have and loved it. Amazing graphics and pretty good work by Neil Tyson.

Yeah, not too bad, I was a little concerned they were going to go the Carl Sagan route with actors for the historic stuff, I prefer the animation (in 20+ years it won't look as corny!) Cheers for the help!

That would have ruined it. I don't want to feel I am looking at history based movie. However, it does make me feel small, irrelevant and connected to everything.

What an awesome looking show I really like Neal D. Tyson.
Along with Antimatter and Dark Matter they've discovered the existence of Doesn't Matter which appears to have no effect on the universe whatsoever!

Indeed.
The format is nice though. You can leave a comment, vote a certain way, and even flag it if necessary.
