His mum has posted on his Facebook page that he died this morning, it hasn't made the news sites yet.
I first posted about him a few weeks ago when he had made his final post and was expected to die. His lung had collapsed and he couldn't talk anymore. He hung on for a few days before couching up a tumour, his lung reinflated and a few days later he was able to leave hospital.
He was able to then break a world record to tick something else off his bucket list.
A day or two ago however his condition again deteriorated and he was back in hospital, tumours again blocking his air ways and his family said it was not looking good and he could no longer communicate.
When he first hit the national news a few weeks ago he brought out the best in the nation and donations to his just giving page soared to over three million.
Then he brought out the worst in some as people began to complain that he wasn't dead enough and took to Twitter to complain that everyone who had donated has been conned.
As I said last time he faced cancer head on, and he done good.

R.I.P. Stephen, I guess I was gone when you first started posting but he seems to have been a fine young man something the world is sorely lacking.

About the record:
His record was getting the most people to make a "heart-shaped hand gesture". The event took place at Stephen's former school, Chase Terrace Technology College and involved 554 people
What ? Only 554 people ? So take any music live event, or sport event in a stadium, make them all do the hand gesture, and this record is blown !!

Yeah, that is the way with lots of these records.
Not sure how the verification takes place once it gets bigger.
My sister in law and niece were two of the 554.

They can count dozens of penguins using satellites, so I believe this must be somehow possible.

I'm sorry, so very, very sorry, but the typo did set it up so beautifully.

Mine would be this one:
Le coq et la poule, P. Desproges[^]
(sorry for non french members, I would have a terrible time to translate that )
Here's one (very quick and dirty) attempt, though:
Hen one morning went to find the c**k
And said: "My friend I long to you.
My libido is annoyed and it is not the seal
With its little crazy and too soft look
That could soothe my spring enthusiasm. "
C**k a little surprised tone of the preamble
Says : " But what then! Here are some ways!
To what end is it that we cornered me!
I know that if this little hen heat
Here she invites me to trudge ! "
Having said he complied but without fervor,
Climbed fury for coconiquer ,
But without enthusiasm and without any more enthusiasm
That puts to piss when you do not want to.
It was beautiful revise one by one her fantasies
By stirring at best on the job, nothing helped .
"Well what? " Says soon casserole that frustrates
And sees her orgasm postponed again
Random uncertain another c**k horny
" For I am cuddly enough gallinaceous
My ass is chicken, I frivolous rump
And now I sue under this pedant to the colorful tail
That labors in vain me while I wilts ! "
When turning a little, she begged Sing Clerc
Him drop feathers and stop its swell.
The rooster was comforted : "I no longer fear the winter
I picked up a jacket foot chicken . "
