Well it's a great day indeed and I'll certainly look forward and mark those days on my calendar.

Here I was all ready for a long debugging session and I stumbled on the bug within the first few minutes. Now I don't have anything super important to do the rest of the day.
And my Sra. has prepared saice[^] and falso conejo[^] with a nice locro[^] with platano maduro[^] for lunch. It looks like I may have to make a difficult choice or eat some of everything.

A delightful idea. Not sure why I hadn't thought of it myself.

And in light of the previous thread[^], the Sra. will then say "Why do you eat so much? You'll get fat."

I was thinking . . . and it dawned upon me.
Along along, the cup they're talking about is actually worn a bit below the waistline.
It's certainly more fitting.

Lunch was leftovers. Venison cube steak, new potatoes and two apples - golden delicious and granny smith

Thanks, that was really interesting, let me vote you up on that one!

Fairly plain fair (the colonies and all), but it was sufficient.

You know I almost misread that as 'venison tube steak'....

I almost NEVER eat tube steaks; CUBE steaks are also sometimes called minute steaks.

Tube steaks = hot dogs
Maybe twice a year.

Ah, I thought you were referring to the Cheech Marin 'tube steak' in the film The Next Movie, when he asks the girl if she eats 'tube steak smothered in underwear'.

Hot dogs! They're just like kebabs: you know they are bad for you, you know that you really, really don't want to know what is in them, but...sometimes, it's exactly what you want, and exactly what you need!

My oldest brother was a meat cutter (butcher) and went on a tour of a bologna plant... he refused to eat it after that.
If I eat hot dogs, I read the ingredient list first and make an informed decision.
Personally, I prefer hot Italian sausage.. the hotter, the better. A roll, some spicy mustard, chunks of cheese and olives on the side.
