Growing up in Arizona in the 60s we had to go 40 or so miles to the nearest lake to have fun at the lake but then this[^] happened while I was across the big pond. Imagine my surprise when I returned and my brother asked me if I wanted to go surfing.
Here's[^] a picture of it.

What is this "60s" of which you speak? Personally I don't recall anything before 1970 (when my kid sister was born).
You'll never get very far if all you do is follow instructions.

For those of us born in the 40s, it was the time when we believed we had invented everything (especially sex and music).

I am mildly disturbed by "summer in the '60" and it ending at 59 pictures.

Is that the real TIME website ? Sooo slow (but for the advertisements video), cluttered with ads
And what is this "Star Wars" like intro in the video ?? Seriously ?
Too bad, because the video seems to be great (could only watch 3 frames due to slowness).

Hmm, time.com, I would have thought so.
But atleast the ads are loading fast.

Was more of a rhetoric questions. Yes, they load fast, but they have priority over the real video, which kind of sucks.
I'll give it a try at home tonight with Chrome, you don't get to see a star exploding every day !

From the SSL thread below.
Is "man in the middle" considered non-PC? Is anyone required to say "person in the middle" or "man/woman in the middle" or something equally ridiculous?
I know I know, stupid inane question but I'm bored...
