What's that?

As Piebald already stated: What the f*** is that?
Or maybe it comes under the "Don't give a flying hoot" option?

I'm a little late to this question! I enjoy contributing answers and I browse other people's answers, occasionally there's a diamond in all the noise that makes it worth while.

Almost done building a custom UI scripting engine...
Downside - it was a pain in the ass.
Upside - cut a full-day process down to 20-25 minutes (depending on speed of target web site).
I had to access a proprietary database that has no public-facing web service/access method, and to make matters worse, the web page was being rendered through Flash, so I couldn't just scrape the html for the data. Instead, I had to build a scripting engine that clicks the mouse, manipulates windows, and looks for visual screen changes, all without knowing what the end-user's screen resolution is going to be... Part of the process involved saving the data as XLS fles that I can then load/manipulate with regular code.

But... did you write the required documentation for future maintenance?

1) Pray (it won't help, but it might give you hope).

Jeez' Mary mudder of Chris! I was up at 5, meetings in London all morning, lunch with Sexy Lady [aka Mrs Wife] and then home in time for the school run. I would love to fall into the clutches of Mothers' Ruin, but I have a meeting this evening.

There's still a couple of messages three and four threads down ("Seven years after...") which are begging to be hit with the Spam hammer.

The problem is that the spam hammer appears to no longer delete spam from the lounge no matter how hard we pound away.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Now *that* sounds like a bug. I assumed normal users votes being defanged was to minimize "I'll spam/abuse because I can't downvote anymore abuse"; but if users with access to higher level moderation tools can't be trusted not to abuse their power they shouldn't be allowed access to them at all.
