Not necissarily, I've got a new job, but that doesn't mean I'll start doing any work

The weather outside is getting bad and I need something to do as long as I can't fly my helis. I'm going to build this fuselage for a Sikorsky s-61 Seaking[^].
The parts are made of PET, just like a cola bottle. The kit is going to look similar to this.[^]. The rest is a lot of real model building and paying attention to detail. Lots of fun. If I can produce something that can be shown in public, I'm going to get another T-Rex 450 and install it in this body.
Of course I want it to resemble an existing helicopter. I chose Old 66 from the USS Hornet[^]. The helicopter on display is not the original. It sank after an emergency landing near San Diego.
I bet, most of you have seen Old 66 at work, like here in 1969.[^]
Old 66 was responsible for the recovery of five Apollos, including Apollo 8, Apollo 11 and Apollo 13. If only DD was here to tell me who was in those capsules.

Even without DD I know that Tom Hanks landed in Apollo 13.

It's the first time I'm doing this. When finished, it will be about 75 cm long. I will have to build a mount for the landing gear and the mechanics from scratch. Also I will have to cut apart the body in the front and turn it into a removable canopy. One wrong cut and...
At least the plastic parts cost only 25 bucks. But if I manage to build something that I will not be laughed at for, then I will post a picture.

DD thinks that the moon landings were faked, the rockets flew to the moon unmanned and that the divers only petended to pull out the astronauts (who obviously were hiding in the helicopter).
Also, we all know that Tom Hanks was aboard Apollo 13.

Ah, I forgot about that.

I got one of them yesterday, hadn't looked at it until you just reminded me.
My May - July Value Statement;
I enjoy unlimited weekend calls to family and friends.
I tucked into 113 hours of TV channels.
I enjoy superfast broadband with unlimited downloads.
I don't understand that, my missus watches all the soaps every bloody night, she must have racked up more telly time than that. Plus she's off work and so no doubt has Jeremy Kyle or Come Dine With Me on all day every day whilst I'm at work.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

Maybe they calculate the TV hours by entertainment -- i.e. there's absolutely no entertainment value in soaps, so they don't count toward the total.

Wow. I'm a gamer; but most of the ~100GB/month I download is actually data being consumed by Einstien @ Home[^].
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
