Planning to get away today for a few days; may or may not have internet access (spotty at best).
So, as I look back on the year, there have been ups and down, posts that boiled my blood and others that brought a smile to a battle worn face.
When I came to CP, it was via a search for a code snippet I needed years back. I have, on occasion, used code from articles as needed, and gave credit to the author. But, as my career has aged along with me, I find myself writing less code, but still enjoying what I do.
CP has gone, for me, from a repository of knowledge, to a daily community. Very much like a community newspaper if you will, I read it, I enjoy it, and, on occasion, I write my 'letter to the editor'.
Thank you for keeping me informed, allowing me to be a part of you, and allowing me to share with you when the mood strikes.
Salut,
Tim

I still admire you for what you did to your hair and why...
Best wishes to the new year!

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Nice post, and pretty much mirrors my experience with CP. Thanks for sharing, and btw, Happy New Year!

Difficult decision...
On the one hand, I have about 50 games on Steam that I picked up during various 90%-off sales that I haven't played yet...
On the other hand, I have Netflix.
Man, I need to get out more.

Speaking as one who does get out more New Years is not a particularly good night to get out.
Halloween is better since the crowds are a bit smaller, the apparel is more interesting and the prices are cheaper.

I am creating my own Ribbon class (because it is also a Menu, which none other Ribbon do) and man... this is too long.....
But I might be doing just that at midnight nonetheless!

Jeez Lloyd, this Ribbon must be some masterpiece! You sound like a man obsessed!

I am starting to get impatient as well! I have a secret take over the world app that needs it!
Fortunately getting there... When I finish the KeyTip I just need to beautify the templates and... ready!!!
Maybe tomorrow!

Why not put it off until next year?
Can't wait to see the final results of your toils! (looks good by the way) Happy New Year!

Right now I'm building turbine intakes and the exhausts are next. Then I will add the cockpit door and the rear hatch. After that I will prepare the mounts for position lights and landing lights.
Short: I'm adding some details on my model.

This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.
