As much as everyone here probably agrees with that specific march, we don't like polit-eeks on this Lounge...

How much attention do you pay to anti-capitalism marches in Iran, or wherever, and how much attention do you think they will pay to this?
This kind of gathering is all about making those taking part feel better about themselves.
Does it achieve anything? That could be debated.
... But not in the CP lounge.

I think your post is very ok. You did not ask to discuss about the subject here, you simply show one of the news.

It really doesn't belong in the lounge because it can quickly deteriorate. This is one of those potentially inflammatory topics.

I totally agree on: no discussion about it here. But only a hint I still think is ok.

I'm sure this will comfort victims of Bono Haram in Nigeria.

I think that's Boko Haram: Bono Haram[^] just force you to have their music...
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Does anyone really believe that holding a rally will make muslim fanatics see the error of their ways and stop them from trying to impose their way of life over ours?

What the heck do these things actually accomplish? Nothing. Like the Occupy events, even the occupy-ists agree that it really did nothing except possibly to raise a minute amount of awareness in a few people.
Meanwhile, as Pete pointed out, Boko Haram continues to slaughter whole villages, enslave girls, and so forth. And what do the French, the EU, the Americans, the world do about it? Absolutely f***ing nothing.

Good news: I actually like your new profile picture a lot better than the old one.
Bad news: That kind of awkward look (as perceived by myself) of your previous picture was not due to the long hair.
Sorry, but hey I its still a better looking picture!
And just out of curiosity, where exactly were you looking at whilst that new picture was taken?
Cheers!

The previous picture was taken when I invited some friends to my new house. They gave me the worst present ever, a statue of the globe with some pink flowers and doves on it. I think they got it at the elderly home sale or something. However, I wasn't aware of any awkwardness in the picture
The new picture is just an innocent selfie. I was supposed to study, so suddenly I just HAD to update my CP profile pic
I wasn't really looking at anything in particular. Mostly the camera I guess.

The frequency of your Lounge posts which describe every moment of your life has fallen short recently: could you consider posting daily on your teeth-maintenance ritual, the state of your shoes' soles on entering your home ... posts on what foods you did not finish when you ate a meal are always interesting, etc. ?
It is difficult for many of us here to maintain the Lounge-post-count self-inflation keeps the egosphere at altitude since the mysterious disappearance of that non-pareil Lord Dalek of Luton, the river-unto-his-people, I know, and even that multi-casting in-gin-uous Magyar, Nagy Himself, has slacked-off but ...
As the Chairman said: "Let a thousand flowers bloom."
cheers, Bill

Wow, you're demanding Bill!
But here you go... Had a friend over for pizza and a movie (Parker). I ate a slice of her pizza because she was full and because I wanted more pizza (if only everything in life was that easy!). The pizza boxes were a bit of a thing, because usually I throw them in the garbage, but it's been very windy the last few days and the garbage bin got thrown over (it was empty, luckily). So I was left with two pizza boxes and a garbage bin that was laying in the mud (since I have no proper garden yet). I was able to flip the garbage bin over by using just my foot though! I didn't even have to step in the mud. Yeah, that was an awesome move, but I guess you should've been there! Anyway, that was the only time I got out today, to throw away some pizza boxes. So my soles got a little dirtier I guess, mostly from touching the garbage bin. Doesn't really matter because I wiped my feet upon entering the house again.
As for the teeth-maintenance ritual, I'll take a shower in a few minutes (details are going to cost you) and after that I'll brush my teeth with my electric toothbrush. That will take me just over two minutes because the toothbrush stops for a moment after two minutes so I know I'm done. However, I never feel like it's done after two minutes, so I keep brushing for a couple more seconds. Maybe like ten to twenty. I gargle with a little bit hot water. I can't stand cold water on my teeth.
Man, today was such an awesome day! Actually I'm just an awesome person! I can imagine you want to hear more about it
Maybe I should take Twitter and Facebook accounts so I can Tweet and shove it in your face all day
Thank Bill, you're full of great ideas

Now we're talking !
And, I just had my first post on the Lounge in 2015 reported, which gets the year off to a great start because knowing you have people after you empowers that paranoia which keeps one alert !
cheers, Bill
