This is the guy's first message (with this userID). Do you honestly think he's read any site documentation?
With the frequency with which this happens, it's a user interface issue.

Who are you, and what have you done with the real JSOP?

I'm just trying to explain to people why I think this happens so often.

Agreed. UI subtleties can mean a lot of different things to different people.
Perhaps the link should be captioned "Ask your question by clicking here", instead of "Ask your question here".

.bin is not a format, just a file extension. Anything could be in there. Worst case it's a plain memory dump without any sort of headers.
In general you can't decompile compiled code. Or, you can, sort of, but the result isn't any better than disassembly.

ahh thats an excellent question
Now my go to guy in this sort of thing is Christann Graus,excellent chap. He has a thorough knowledge and a wealth of experience in mcirocontrollers etc - and even better he's a top bloke who loves nothing more than to give newbies some help. Its true to say that he is real asset to the microcontroller community.
Drop him an email I just know he'd love to help.
cheers and good luck

Okay,
With all the hacking going on, and all the money spent, one would figure there would be MORE 2FA opportunities. My bank, because I send wires, makes me use one of those devices to generate a secondary password. I literally have 45 seconds to fumble with it.
I LOVE IT.
I feel so much more secure. In fact, I have started asking for one to protect ALL of my financial data, and I have one from my Brokerage account as well (for a few years now).
What irritates me? The bank will NOT turn this on for REGULAR access to my account!
And that this is NOT even an option. They simply cannot do it. WTF?
Amazon gives me an app to generate it. I would be okay with an app. Especially one I could
easily disable if I lose my phone...
Shouldn't this be a requirement to protect Money and an option on any critical site?

You are talking about something like this[^]
SFW
That should be an option for everything
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}
|

Absolutely what I am talking about.
Very Secure.
Does not protect from Phishing Theft from the SOURCE (ie Target)

I use one. The kids started playing with it and after 3 wrong passwords it locked out. I rang up and explained it was locked, and with minimal info (my name) they gave me a code to reset it.
Only as good as the weakest link.
Regards,
Rob Philpott.

That still required you had the physical device in your control.

I've looked several times just to make sure, and sadly, no, my name is not on there.

Its basically hopeless, because some owns companies that's not listed on the stock exchange, thereby one would have to guess its value. And other who are listed well, if they sold all their shares the stock prize would go down, so they wouldn't have that much money anyway.

Well, loans are as cheap as possible in Germany, so how about 500 with 1% on a 6 month basis?
I love to make money from money, its like transofrming s**t to gold with no reasonable workeffort
