The Council election will be over, he will have no further reason to stay away...
So place your bets, Ladies and Gentlemen!
I suspect that it depends what happens:
If he loses, he will check to see if we are taking the Mickey, and return pretending it didn't matter.
If he wins, he will return insisting we bow before his magnificence!
Will he win? Dunno - depends on the number of "Pikies" in Luton he may have recently offended: a vast majority of the electorate, by all reports...
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I bet a on he we will return

No.
The reasons he is not here now, will still apply if he wins i.e. anyone can read this forum you don't even have to sign-up. He would have to constantly watch what he says. If I remember correctly he was being given a save seat this time round, so he should win.

What could he possibly post that would sgnificantly change the impression his old posts of many years make?

This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

Don't think I said anything about changing impressions of past posts?

No, but there is little point in staying away as long as the old posts exist. They still give a good impression of how he behaved when he did not think he had to watch out.

The old posts can only be found if you are looking for them. The majority of old posts were made before he knew he was standing, there's not much he can do about them now.
If your hand is in a fire - do you say "oh well it's burnt now I might aswell keep it in there" or do you withdraw so as not to cause more damage?

Or he could cut it off, replace it with a new one. And let the old be, the question is which identity should be changed, real life or cp? I think real life is more reasonable to change

Bad example. A Sith only knows extremes.
How about being a little more careful after burning your fingers and otherwise just keep on going?

Nobody goes through the trouble to link a person to a username without a purpose. This once happened to me as well. Actually, if I had not intentionally left my computer online and my CP password stored in the browser, this particular secret agent would never have found what I posted for him. Under 'Code Horrors' back then.

I think not...
1. He not seems to me to giving up on politics even he loses this time - so he still have to watch himself while online...
2. There a few here that will not miss a chance to bash him loses or wins...
3. He seems to doing well without us
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Dalek Dave[^]?
There isn't a Dave in Luton North either.
And given the candidates' names, that does seem a messed up area.
If you know what I mean.
You have just been Sharapova'd.

He's not standing as an MP, he's standing for the local council - the election for councillors is going on at the same time.

This[^] could be our guy. He's standing for the tories, and he's an accountant.

I thought I might do a double check of his age using this[^] with this[^]. It was a massive failure, he's 35 years old (in that photo)

I just tried that with a couple of pictures of me - and it "couldn't detect any faces" in any of 'em!
So...the internet doesn't think I'm human any more...
