Well, three weeks ago (give or take), I can no longer access CodeProject from work (I work on an Army installation). I submitted a ticket to the help desk, and yesterday, they told me that the site was blocked, "probably due to DNS poisoning", and that I had to submit a form to regain access. I have some friends that work on an Air Force base if they could get to CP, and they can.
I'm leaning towards not believing the claim of DNS poisoning, because if that were truly the case, NOBODY in the DoD would be able to reach the site.

How about using a proxy? Either one of those proxy sites, or an actual one. In my time in the army I used a private VPS to access everything I wanted through a SSH tunnel .

DNS poisoning ? How could that happen, did they fire the taster ?

John, unless you realllllly love working for uncle sam...the grass is greener on this side. Not by much, but it is greener.
Sorry to hear you have to go through this crap.

But on this side, you are not allowed to fire at will during the breaks, are you ?

You're not allowed to fire at Will at any time! I might spill my gin.

Aside from MPs, and troops at firing ranges or in transit between them and a weapons locker US military bases are gun free zones.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Sounds like the sort of excuse people use when they cannot find a good reason to say no.

So, rather than fix their DNS, they just block things?

I don't know;
Heard crazily knit lid thwarts telepathy. (3,4,3)
a tin foil hat thwarts telepathy, obviously.
Heard is usually something to do with sounds like, crazily would be an anagram or that might be a red herring.
knit contains the letters of tin, thwarts could be foils, a lid is a hat.
Something along those lines I think, but not exactly.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

Chris has got it:
Crazily -> anagram
heard knit -> nit
-> tin
lid -> hat
thwart -> foil
Work somehow interrupted cobbling together a better CCC.
I duely apologize for the lack of quality.
Maybe a clue for reversal would have been better than one for an anagram?
Cheers!

That didn't stop Chris in solving it in round about 1 minute.
