After watching Google IO Keynote I think it's time to switch to Android, despite the annoying issues of Android.
Specially the new UI with Material Design is very nicely done.
Quick recap in 10 minutes[^]
I am currently using Windows Phone. It works just fine but I think Microsoft is taking too long to catch-up. I don't know why they are so slow. The Outlook Mail app, which is very good on iOS and Android is not even available for Windows Phone. Windows Phone 10's new features looks like a minor version, more like a v 8.2.

I can only say LOL!

I was told to look at Google's Project Vault.
So, I opened http://www.google.com
I entered "Google Project Vault"
Not one page from google itself, while there are hits all over the place from Cnet and dozens of others.
Is there a way to get straight to the horse's mouth on all this ?

My guess is that Google doesn't have a site up for this yet (unlikely, but possible).

Look here: [^].
This is a Google ATG project that ... my guess is ... is not ready for prime-time, and they are keeping it "low-profile," for now.

Just spent 20 minutes there.
Looked at five, maybe ten files.
No clue what I was viewing.

Thanks for finding this.

Google loves you more than me ! A LOT more !
I just repeated the process five minutes ago. (i.e., placing "google vault" into Google)
Results were decidedly different from what they were this weekend.
Wow, were the results different this time !
Two days ? Completely different behavior ? What gives ?

...and we have a new home.
At this point we're still hovering nervously over pages and pages of graphs and performance monitors. No matter how much testing you do it always works out differently in Real Life.
If you see anything weird (and I don't mean some of the members) then please let us know. If you see any files missing, odd 404s or minor explosions also please let us know.
I'd also be keen to hear how performance is. We're on completely new hardware and a new network in a new location. We're keen to see how this all adds up.

Cheers! Good luck with the new hosting centre!
But... should everything look exactly the same at this point? Could there be caching issues or something else that has to warm up or settle? Because ATM no forum looks like it should for me. Tons of posts missing; one post I saw has switched forum; in Bugs&Sugs a reply without OP..
edit: Apparently things are shaking themselves into place or are being shaken into place - some of the forums are back to their state as of yesterday.

I think some of the hamsters are still making their way back from the pub.
I'm rounding them up - still a few stragglers though.

A good number of recent posts in the Insider forum are missing. It shows March 8 as the most recent post.
EDIT: ALL GOOD NOW.

Half the month of May is gone in Soapbox 1.0. There are no top-level posts after 13 May 2015 and I know there were posts almost every day of May.

Great that the site came back.

Well the (fairly new) responsive web page stuff made it too. I had really hoped that would get lost in the move.

Outside of Albany, NY, and the performance is markedly BETTER than before. Page load times for me are much faster, even the settings pages.

I don't know if it's the move, or my ISP being visited by the speed fairy overnight, but the site is quite zippy this morning. If the former, good job!

The site responds to requests considerably faster than before for me too. If it stays like that the move was definitely worth the effort.

That's awesome.
I'm in Australia at the moment so it's hard to tell. By the numbers perf was equal, but if you're seeing an improvement then I'll take it and run.
