.... treat us low rep members.
a.) Questions will be simply deleted (by a single member), because they deemed unworthy….
Sorry, but English is -in most (?) cases- not the mother tongue of the questioner!
Look at how many times questions were deleted today, simply because you were not correctly written in English ... and yes sometimes also a little bit poor explained…but please…
b.) Not every member is a member for several years. That a question be repeated is probably the normal!
The repetitive and pedantic teachings of some members nerves sometimes more than the spammers!
Do you ask yourself why it really comes now and then to outbursts?
I was once one of the outbursts, but I will do my best in the future to represent Low Rep Members!
And yes you certainly recognize, English is not my native language otherwise my words would be much more direct!
[EDIT]
All this can lead to an inbred community. Newbies are afraid from asking a question, and more than this they will never answer one.
[EDIT 1]
And yes, a little disappointing that the moderation blocks this in a way. I think I phrased it (maybe very) critical, but never abusive.
Prepared to be kicked again.
Regards.

It was a joke - that's why he posted it with the joke icon.

I did not mentioned anywhere, that jokes are allowed for discussion...
That is an example of such a pedantic reply low rep mems have "to consume".

You're in the lounge - everything is a joke here!

Oh sorry it seems I'm missing something. Last weekend I posted a joke in soapbox.... ok, it was a very Special one ... but after seeing my rep come down near Zero, I deleted it

I've been saying for years....This whole concept of reputation is ridiculous. It give people a false sense of worth, it provokes issues like this, and doesn't prove anything about a person.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is

Thanks for your honest answer.
I don't think the rep is basically bad, it gives some information. But what I really hate is, that one high rep member can delete a question by reporting or what else. Fortunately this is not (every time?)the case while reporting members.

... it being considered a joke is kind of confirming 0x1AA's point.

Hmmm - that's been a high rep downvote you got there. If it wasn't high rep, my upvote would have had a lot more of an effect.

It is not a Thing for my account. I observe all these for a lot of other low rep mems; which will be treated bad....sometimes very bad

Don't worry about it - a lot of the longer term members are just as annoyed with the petty downvoting.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to post this to the correct forum[^]?

The point I am making is that if you really want to see unhelpful and immature downvoting visit that site.
I find code project to have the most helpful and friendly coding community on the web(that I have found so far).
If you read the stickies at the tops of pages regarding how to use the forums you will hardly ever get unhelpful comments.
Your ENglish does not need to be perfect, however it does need to be good enough in order to communicate your question and ideas. If your question or ideas are poor, irrespective of your language ability, many other people will point this out.
If you word your questions well then I would be very surprised to see you get unhelpful remarks.
Also why stick around if you don't like the place? Just go somewhere else that suits you better - that's what I did on stackoverflow, I simply removed my user after I realised that all of my answers were being criticised for petty reasons.

Agree 100%.
I post there from time to time, and Its always relevant and useful, and within minutes some jackass downvotes it with no reason.

I come to code project because it has some of the best resources and people on the web for .NET coding. Also the lounge is a good place to hange out as the humour and interests of those on the lounge broadly match mine.

This is EXACTLY why rep is meaningless in any online forum.

It has been for many years now. I don't know why O bother coming here really, it certainly isn't for technical info, stackoverflow is way better.
